Removing KA and i've hit a small snag with my wrench sizes which unfortunately stop at 19mm. Removing this from behind headers and don't know what size it is.

24mm x 1.5 thread pitch. Use vice grips to get it loose. You may even need to hit it with a propane torch for a minute to get it loosen up.
Goog luck

Soak the ever living crap out of it with PB Blaster for a couple of days before you attempt to pop it off. If it strips, good luck...

You might want to get a flarenut wrench for that guy.
Always better to grab as many flats as possible.

cut with torch and replace with cheap 60 dollar ebay header.

Your best bet it's to use a pipe wrench because every other wrench will fail and leave you w/ busted knuckles. Good luck

Pussies. I took mine off with a large crescent wrench and a touch of PB that I let soak for all of 5min :-)
Just kidding- All good ideas... but crescent wrench worked for me... I may have had to angle it so I could push it with my foot; but that was a LONG time ago. Good luck~
EDIT: Disregard- I thought that was the one on the downpipr section, not behind the exhaust mani. My bad. I say do what you can... If it strips, cut it off and plug it.

Or just cut the pipe out of the way and put a 24mm socket on it with an impact.
If you're deleting emissions, that works.

A nickel will fit quite nicely under that, blocking it (on the sr20 at least). We used to joke and say "now your exhaust has inconel in it..."

Works fine on KA too.
A nickel on both ends and one in the AIV as well.
15 cent emissions delete.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up breaking that tube... Gonna go with aftermarket headers like sleepyS14 said.
