Okay for starters please Dont bash me, okay so when I drive my car city or highway and i go to slow down I push the clutch in, my rpms drop low to mid 500's and when i push my brakes lights come on and my voltage drops down to about 12.6 and the car acts like it wants to die. The only things I have done to my car is batt relocate to trunk, n60 maf with safc2 (just to adjust the maf settings), electric fan wired with a relay, rps13 tail lights, egr delete, msd ignition, optima yellow top. Okay I tested the battery and it tested 1000 CCA rated 800 so that's good. Alternator puts out 14.4 unloaded and 13.6. It only acts stupid when its night time. The headlights on and the car is warmed up. Please point me in directions to fix the. Oh yeah I hooked a smoke machine to check for vacuum leaks and nothing.

Move the battery to the original forward position and see if it solves the problem? Take a good hard look at the electrical connections and grounds running to the aft battery relocate.

Moving the battery back to under the hood would be really hard given my intake is there and both wheel wells have been cut out to "clean" up the bay. It was boosted before and I took all the off and went na. I put a new alternator on today and think I have resolved my power draw but it wasn't my alternator I think its my electric fans and the way they are wired. I've been trying to find ways to wire in my fans using a relay and no extra toggle switches or sensors. The way I have them wired now is pin 30 to battery, 85 ground, 86 I have spliced into the fuel pump fuse as just a trigger, and 87 to the fan. Since I've done this the relay gets warm and when I turn the car off the EGI relay buzzes. I'm just going off the research I've done and it worked in my other 2 s13's. If you have any more insight that would be awesome. Thanks for the input.
