so tell me the skinny on running a ford lightning maf on a rb25det s2 engine??

iam already running a z32 one spliced and running fine. but I want to switch to a blow through setup.

iam running a nistune and a few bolt-ons. is this a simple splice/plug and play affair??

also how close/far does this have to be from the throttle plate??

Check out the Nistune forums. They are trying to develop the base flow image of the sensor. Short answer is that you need to be able to significantly change your tune to accommodate the sensor.

Emulating the position of a Z32 sensor when used in blow through is probably a good starting point.

Dont mess with the Z32 setup, it works fine. Dont try a blow-through on the RB engine.

Please just keep things simple. Use tried and true combinations for cookie cutter results.
Whatever you are trying to fix by changing things around... can be fixed an easier way. I am sure.

I do not know how far from the throttle body it needs to be but I am sure you can find all your answers on the Nistune forums as seagrasser said. I believe it needs to be in a 3" pipe and in a relatively straight section as well. I am not a tuner but in the Nistune you can select what MAF you are running. From what I have heard just clicking a different MAF will not work correctly, you might need to get it retuned. Sorry for the not so certain answers, just check the Nistune forums.
