broken gauge, or incorrect source

Bad source. Did you connect the boost gauge line before the throttle body

Thanks for the quick reply guys.

So this is a brand new Defi Gauge so I hope its not messed up.
and I connected it to one of the small nipples below the throttle body. We switched the throttle body out with a g20.

And here are all the vacuum lines. please take a second and see if this looks right just to double check

That inlet is before the throttle body butterfly. Cap the nipple and get you source off the manifold.
Also I had a g20 tb blow the seals out and leak under boost. Could have been old seals or that the g20 wasn't built for boost. So make sure to watch for that.

I have the exact same problem OP. Just started my fresh motor Sunday. I am getting 0 vacuum and lean at idle 16-17s.

Please update with you solution. I think my Intercooler might have a hole in it.

Hmmmm. Planning to do a boost leak this weekend so ill know if its a leak somewhere. also, if I should look for a source on the manifold should I tap a nipple in or is there a better solution?

Another question, I want to keep the cruise control, whats another good alternative TB?

If its a stock manifold im not sure wher the best vac port is, im using a freddy mani and it has 3 ports underneath..

if you find a double throttle body pulley that fits the SR Throttle body let me know, i been waiting to get something for my cruise control.

There are 3 small sources for vac on the S14/15 manifolds. Two metal lines run forward and stop roughly below the throttle body, pick one and use it for your gauge. Another option is to Tee into the FPR source, which is off the inside of the manifold just behind the TB on the upper portion. You can use the gauge only on that source because it doesn't "use" vac it just registers it on a gauge. Boost controllers, BOV and other items can take precious vacuum away from FRP's so that's the only thing Id run off that line with the FPR.
