So when I start my motor it will sputter and want to die so I have to give it gas. Its almost like there is air in my fuel lines. I do have a z32 fuel filter and an AFPR so That could be the issue. Anyway that's something else. Now to the real problem.
Here are the symptoms and things I have checked for
I have an AEM eugo. When idling my AFR is between 17.5 and 18. If I hit the throttle it goes more rich as expected. Cruising in vac my AFR is 14.8-15.5 and in Boost I sit mid to high 12's. I have adjusted my TPS properly both to .45, .5, and .55 volts with no change. I have timing at 15btdc. (2nd from the right correct?) The MAF sensor is new (used) and reads proper voltage of 1.8 at 1k rpm. Fuel pressure is set to 43.5 psi with vac line unplugged/pinched. My idle is at 1k-900. The only other thing I don't have a way to check for is a vac leak. My Boost gauge says I'm pulling -8 vac which I know is low but all my IC piping is tight and I cant hear anything leaking. I also just checked my spark plugs and coil wiring. I have Autolites equivalent to BKR7E gapped to .28-.30 which is OEM spec.
So...what do we think? I'm out of ideas other than maybe replacing the CTS. The one I have is registering high like any other S14 with s13 swap (yes I replaced it with the one from my KA) Thanks guys
