it's oil. the smoke gets really thick and doesn't dissipate fast....and most definitely smells like burning oil. it won't do it while i'm driving, only at idle..but oddly enough sometimes it won't. 10 minutes ago i had it spewing smoke, so i took a drive around the block to see if it did it while in boost but it didn't.. when i got back and let it idle it was fine. i will be doing a compression test a little later on today. i'm thinking it could be a turbo seal, but then i'd see it in boost to, but i don't. the car drives fine, idles smooth (even when smoking), no hesitation driving or anything. it feels a little like it's not pulling as hard as it should in boost, but maybe that part's my imagination. it's hardly a noticeable difference though. surprisingly my oil levels aren't moving though which confuses me..so other than turbo seal or piston rings, what else could cause this?
here's a quick vid (recorded with potato) of it

edit: 90% sure its turbo seal at this point, PSI/heated oil is just sealing it. that's step one
