View Full Version : Sr code 11

Light background, freshly rebuilt sr.
Did the harness myself.
Car starts right up, ign timing must be pretty close just based off how the motor acts.

Now I haven't put miles on the car but I constantly get code 11. (Fired it up initially just for a few seconds, then to bleed coolant resetting the ecu in between via disconnecting battery)

CAS seems to be good since the car runs. Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a CAS to borrow.

Input appreciated.

After resetting the ECU did you check to make sure it still doesn't flash code 11?

It's either the wiring or the CAS. I'd check timing first though.

After the reset, code goes away.

If it was wiring the car wouldn't run...correct?

Most likely, but did you use the same gauge wire from ECU to the CAS? Check timing, see if its doing anything weird, find a known working CAS and swap it out. Those are your next steps.

Timing is perfect 15* just shut the car down after testing/adjusting that.

Same gauge wire used, I re used the original harness.

Also after timing it, resetting battery and running it again I still have the code.

I will be sourcing a CAS next.

Thanks for your input man
