View Full Version : thinking new setup....Thoughts?

Hey guys just wanted to know your thoughts on this setup. Im shooting for a responsive 350ish with room for 400 on special days with racesause. gtx2867r, s3cams, 750's, pbm high mount, I still dont know what to do for ecu. stuck between rs rom and ms pnp. And thinking no bov.

heres what I have as of now.
- Blitz FMIC
- HKS SSQV BOV
- Isis Turbo Elbow
- Exhaust Manifold
- Circuit Sports 3" Downpipe
- straight 3" exhaust
- Filter
- Tomei Rocker Arm Stoppers
- Apexi head gasket 1.1MM (changing to tomei 1.5 because of leak.)
- Head Port and Polished
- 3 angle Valve job
- ARP Head Studs
- Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
- Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Oem 300zx fuel filter
- GReddy Profec I Boost Controller

That turbo is capable of 400 on pump if Im not mistaken...

Keep the BOV, just recirc it back into the suction of the turbo downstream of the MAF. Factory exhaust manifold is plenty for 400, no need to slap a cheap tubular manifold that will crack on the side of the motor for those numbers. Rocker arm stoppers tend to do more harm than good, especially if you plan on playing on the rev limiter, if not don't worry about it.

Should I drop to the gtx2863r? I don't see a problem surging with the ported shroud. But I guess that makes me need a map based ecu cause the air coming out of ports will fight the air coming in.... O ya this will soon be a weekend/track car. Should of said that earlier.
