Redtop SR Knock :(

so i'm at work, go on lunch, after i pull in and park coming back i notice this horrid sound. it sounds like a constant rattling. imagine a metal ball on a metal surface that is vibrating causing it to constantly bounce slightly. here is a shitty video i took on my shitty iphone uploaded to shitty youtube. quality is gonna blow, but again i'm at work and am gonna have to drive home 20 miles in a few hours.

It's not a knock if it's only at idle. A knock would get louder/ faster with the Rpms. Could be timing chain guide and your hearing the chain slap around. Although I'm no professional.

false alarm. went outside when i got a minute, the guy that owned the 240 before me has a heat shield underneath the car which is coming loose. this was a bit of a panic post lol feel free to ignore me now

i was on lunch break and was exploring for some cool backroads near here (i don't live around here) and came across a nice size empty lot with some random islands in it and went skidding around, so when i got back and heard that i got real scared real fast lol

so i'm home now and looked at the car a bit. its definitely more than the heat shield coming loose, something's gotta be replaced. after my drive home (20 miles on the parkway) i noticed the first stop sign after i got off the car was pulling way more vacc then it should, needle was as far as it could go. checked what boost felt like and it was only pulling 4psi when it should be 8-9psi. also, the turbo spooling was much louder. i've got 2 videos, one of the exhaust under the car, the flex pipe is totally fucked which i'm figuring is the cause..and the second vid of a quick 1st gear pull, you can hear the turbo sound i'm talking about. incoming more shit vids..

i'm no master tech by any means, but i'm not too dumb and have a little common sense... ideas where to start?

after talking a while, I'm sure that that is most definitely a real cat. assumed it wasn't cause this was a drift car...why a cat -____- anyway I'm fairly sure the rattling sound is the blown cat, and the back pressure cause the flex pipe blown...so next step is get rid of cat, get new flex pipe and that should fix things..
