Maf help DE and DET

So I bought a zenki s14 sr swap a while back, installed it in my vert with a wiring specialties wiring harness.

anyways, when i installed the swap it ran but never really ran right.. i checked vacuum, grounds, everything. I managed to check the MAF the other day and the part number was 22680-52F01 and from my understanding that MAF is for a s13 SR20DET, or s14/s15 N/A SR20DE.

I talked to the guy who sold me the swap and he said this should make no difference. He has agreed to switch out the MAF for the correct one. But assures it will make no difference.

My correct MAF should be 22680-69F00 am I right?

IIRC (I may not recall all facts perfect) :

There are 3 main maf sensors. they are all different, like you are suggesting.

1. S13 maf / KA24E maf. These are interchangable. 62/63/E5 ecu (and also possibly J4/J5 ecu as well)
2. S14 Zenki maf Red/Black WC ecu
3. S14 Kouki (NA ecu) maf (98 sr20det notch top)

and finally, the S15 maf, which I think is the same as the NA ecu (s14 Kouki) maf. but again I could be wrong.

Yes they are different and yes they will usually start and run the engine but it will not drive very well if at all.
They need to match the ECU- not the wiring harness. I am thinking you have the WC ecu.
