View Full Version : Engine harness Question

Going through the upper engine harness for a LS1 swap, looks like they fused all the wires together where it goes through the firewall with rubber/foam. Anyone know how or if its possible to clean this up?

you can try ripping as much as you can off and possibly use rubbing alcohol.. its worked for me for rubber foam sealer but it varies.

^^You can try hitting it LIGHTLY with a heat gun... tear the majority off by hand... maybe some Goo Gone, followed with isoprophyl alcohol.

the sticker remover worked like a charm, didnt know it would dissolve the foam. Was very messy but got the job done.

^^Make sure to clean them really well with isopropyl alcohol... That way when you go to re-wrap the loom, the tape will stick nicely.
