sr20 doesn't feel at full power

I'm hoping someone can help me out. My sr20det is feeling like it's lacking power. This past weekend when I was driving it didn't feel right. When I punch it, it holds boost at about 7-8 psi but it doesn't feel as quick as it did before, and the bov doesn't sound as loud as before either. You can hear the bov release air but it doesn't whistle like it did before. Before even when shifting at low rpms you could hear the bov, but know it seems like I have to press on the gas a lot just to hear the bov. To me, the exhaust even sounds like the car isnt even turbo it sounds na. It's an sr20 with a fmic, 255 walbro, hks ssqv IV, 3 inch piping. It does sound like there might be an exhaust leak by the down pipe, but do you think that can cause the problems.

If someone can provide some help I would really appreciate it.

Probably blew out the turbo<--->manifold gasket.

Also check the turbo inlet see if any oil or anything out of the ordinary.

check for exhaust leaks first. start with the easiest. then check your turbo for excessive shaft play and check for oil in your intercooler and intake pipe. make sure all your turbo gaskets are in good shape and tight

boost leaks and check to see if your turbo isnt damaged or seized.. mine seized on me and i had to rebuild my t25. you sure youre feeling boost? like do you hear your turbo spool?

Thanks for the replies. I probably won't get a chance to work on it until this weekend, but it seems I have some good suggestions were to start. I'm hoping it's nothing major.
At 240boi115, yeah I can hear the turbo spool but it doesn't have the power like it did before. I remember before i would punch it and it would push you into the seat.

from your description ( exhaust sound has changed ) sounds like possibly you pooped the piston rings. compression check it while you are troubleshooting.

or boost leak or dead turbo.

change sound
lose power
etc
