I picked up a Q45 Throttle body from my local Pull A Part this past weekend but apparently I chose to pull the heaping mass that is the Throttle Body of a model equipped with traction control. I've been searching the past two days and can NOT find a straight answer as to whether or not the Traction Control body can be used with the KA. Do I need to sell this one and find a non-trac body? Or can the TC Throttle Body be used? If it cannot be used, why?

I don't no for shore if the TC Throttle body can be used you not. But if all of your hoses match up and the bolt patterns are the same, I don't see why not.

Are you using a 60mm throttle body?

Okay well this might help you some. The Q45 throttle body that you have is normally found on sr20det or ka24det motors. But there are links on google that show you how to run a Q45 on a ka24e motor. Search "ka24e throttle body upgrades". Hope this helps
