Hello, I've been cruising this forum for a long time, but just now decided to make a new account on here, hello all!

I've got an sr20det that's fully rebuilt in my hatch, I've put it in the car, but I'm having trouble sorting somethings out.

-It's running rich, super rich and can't figure out why. Have an adjustable FPR, gauge also and it sets at 40psi.
-When I first rev it up, it dies down, then picks up after you mess with the throttle. It's smooth slow revving, then is choppy about 2k-2500 then clears out, once I let off the throttle it dies, like it doesn't have enough to stay alive.
-Stock SR, stock ecu, stock injectors, FMIC custom setup with Tial 50mm BOV.
-I'm not 100% sure if my vacuum lines are ran correct so any input on this would help a ton. The motor has no problem idling etc.
-I've made sure with multiple sources that my MAF is wired correct because these are normal problems of a maf, I haven't dug through the wiring yet to confirm nothing is spliced or cut.

ANY input would help, this is keeping me from driving my car, thanks guys! :wiggle::wiggle:

I'm sure these questions have been answered before, if you know of some, link them. I've searched non-stop and haven't got any solid answers yet.

Turn your fuel pressure down to 32-34psi with vacuum, 42-44 without. Better yet, put the stock regulator back in. You don't need an adjustable regulator until either A- you are pushing 400+hp and/or B- your tuner needs to fine tune fuel pressure.

Set your timing to 15-17BTDC at idle. This could account for the stuttering.

Do NOT use starting fluids, octane boosters etc.

Check connection at MAFS.

Verify all couplings are secure and do not leak.

Verify your BOV and wastegate actuator are connected to your compressor (boost source), and that your FPR is connected intake vacuum/boost, NOT the throttle body vacuum.

Thanks for the reply, the reason I had put a adjustable FPR on was because I thought my old one may have been bad & that it was not regulating it therefore running rich. I'll go through everything & see what I figure out, thanks!

boost leak check. fill the plumbing with pressure and verify it stays put. rich conditions are almost always boost leaks and leaky blow-off valves (bypass valve)
