Ok I searched around and I might have just confused myself with a really simple thing so forgive me I've haven't really selpt the last few days trying to get my car working again.
This is just one of the many things that I'm trying to figure out with my car this past weekend...
So alittle background on my car I have a A31 Cefiro for those of you don't know comes with a stock RB20DET and basically shares a chassis with a R32/S13 just think of it as a 4 door version of thoose cars...
Now my car has been swapped with a RB25DET Ser. 1 nothing fancy just a neo turbo, Apexi PFC, Blitz BC, HKS TT, Apexi N1 pro, everything else basically stock.
I got a used Koyo radiatorfor a KA/ RB a few week ago and it fits perfectly into my car with no problems except one...

I need to know what to do with this temp sensor and is there an obvisous solution that I'm just missing?
I've looked at other radiators and I don't see this sensor for it and I'm wondering if it is an R33 thing and I need to convert it or get a adaptor of some kind.

Here are the pics:

Thanks in advance for your help!

Looks like a temp sensor. Get an inline adapter with the sensor. Or you can go the other route and tap the rad.

Better question is, what is that sensor for? If its just a thermo sensor for a switch to turn the AC condenser E-fan or OEM E-fans, you probably dont need it if you're running an aftermarket E-fan setup with its own controller (Think FAL Fans). Didnt these cars come with mech fans?

Its a temp sensor triggers the smaller electric fan on and off, the fan is mounted in front on the left passenger side (AKA US drivers side) in front of the condensor.
so I'm guessing its for the A/c system.
And currently i'm not running electric fans yet so I'm just gonna run the adapter till I and figure out what I need and don't need i guess.
It just gets confusing sometimes with this car cause I'm using a R32 and S13 FSM for the body and a R33 FSM for the engine...
There isn't a FSM on the A31 so I tend to over think things sometimes but the search is part of the fun!

If thats the case, I'd get rid of it and wire the AC Condensor fan on a relay and have the AC compressor signal to trigger it. That way, when the AC is on, the AC fan will be on.

Yup, thats what I did with my S14 Silvia. My car didnt have an AC E-fan so I pulled a condenser fan out of an R33, mounted it up front and wired it using the AC Compressor clutch signal as a trigger for the fan relay.
