I got a nissan 240sx 89 hatch, with a Ka24e motor in it. For some odd reason i have no horspower in the motor at all. I could ride my bike faster than the car can go for now. Ive been talking to some people and they said it could be missfiring, timing, or a fuel related problem. I found out from a compression test that my 1st cylinder only had around 60psi and it should be atleast 90 for these motors. Dont know if the cylinder needs to be replaced, becuase someone said you can still run off 3 cylinders and not have the problem i am. Any input on what the problem might be or personal experciences woud help.

I... dunno what to say to this? Sorry, if this is a legit post. lol.

so cylinder No. 1 is at 60 psi... and what are the others? <was kind of a stupid question. 90psi on these motors is not even close to what it is supposed to be, should be around ~150-180. I'd just either do a rebuild or toss another KA24E engine in and call it a day.

Also you'll find much more info if you'd search either google, this site, or other 240sx sites.
Goodluck.
