I'm currently replacing my timing chaing, guides, tensioners on my KA..
and as I was putting the guides and tensioners back together I noticed it
didn't have the 2nd tensioner thats below the 1st upper left one...
What I'm trying to figure out is if the previous owner forgot to put it on or
had a reason to leave it off on purpose..?
Is it necessary to have that other tensioner..?
I have the new tensioner that should be on there but no bolts to
bolt it on to the block..
Would the dealer carry these bolts..?

Thanks

Oh.. so its common to leave it off then..?

no tensioner in there haha..

You need both tensioners. However you can omit the upper guides if you want. At least leave off the topmost guide.

Sigh... motor was running fine without it.. only
did the timing job because the covers were leaking
As for the upper guide is there a reason why I
should keep it off..? I already installed the new one on haha
