So, SR20DET with (really dark purple) 370cc injectors, FMIC, 255LPH fuelpump, stock fpr, GT2554R turbo, z32MAF.
This turbo runs best between 1.2/1.7bar-ish.. But I was told that the 370's don't really like it above 1.0bar.
Funny thing that happens is this:
At 1.0bar the engine runs pretty rich. Due to the fact that the mapping is a bit off. Buttt, it keeps running rich high up the rpm band at WOT. When checking the apexi multichecker, I read a max of about 85% peak on the injectors and around 10..0 to 11 on the A/F ratio (adjustable with safc). Feels really steady without any knock.
Isn't a 370 supposed to crap out over 80%? Are they actually 370's?
I would like to run at around 1.2 to 1.4 bar, and looking at the A/F ratio's, it looks like that's possible. But I didn't think the 370's would hold that. Could they be leaking or something?
I always thought leaking injectors would cause rough hot starting and rough idle (which it both doesn't do).

On a sidenote, when I put the safc to 0 on the entire rpm band, the engine tends to richen out above 4500 RPM (dropping below 9.0A/F) and still with the injectors below 90%. I know, bad map, but still, didn't think the 370's could actually do that..

Send the injectors to Witchhunter. They will clean, service, flow check etc. the injectors with very short turnaround. Along with that, you get a printout that tells you everything you need to know... Then you will know for sure that not only are your injectors good, but also what their flow rate is. 'and knowing is half the battle'
