first off, yes I have done a tremendous amount of research, so don't come in here and just post a reply saying "search fist", I have, maybe I suck, show me. Answer the question to the best of your knowledge, don't just tell me "oh go turbo" or anything of that sort, that is not the point of the thread.
I bought a car from a friend of mine, it has a fully built KADE in it, specs: fully counterbalanced crank, h-beam rods, 11.0:1 comp. pistons, ported head, JWT 288* cams, stock intake manifold, DC sports header, full 3" exhaust, 9lb flywheel, and it ran on JWT tuned ecu with a nissan altima MAF sensor and SR 370cc injectors.
The car was stolen and gutted, suspension taken etc etc. I bought the car off of him, however the ECM and MAF/intake setup were stolen, the engine, trans and driveline are all there.
Now here is the dilemma/question: the JWT ECU alone is 595 +shipping, then I need an altima maf with pigtail and an intake tube.
I want to attempt doing this without spending that much money, so I need some sort of solution. I want to use the stock ECM with the SR injectors, so I need to know what MAF to use, or any combination of stock injectors, and some different maf or any combination that could work.
The car will be driven at the track mostly and sometimes on the street.

TLDR; built KA24DE, need cheap running solutions

I am happy to answer any questions, rude comments are ignored, because nobody got time fo' dat.

thanks

ROM tunes like JWT, are the cost effective solution. If you want to be cheaper than that, shoulda' bought a stock 240.

Nistune? OR ENTHAPLY will be cheaper

Nistune or Enthalpy are your best alternative if you don't want to shell out. Not sure what other ROM/flash tunes are available.

The problem I see is that you have a fully built motor. I understand the 'budget' aspect, but it may be worth missing a season; and saving up for a good tuned ECU & intake to complement all the hard work that went into the build.

cheap

All was good until you got there. Sorry man ... either sell that engine, or prepare to shell some money.

Cheapest hardware would be a nistune i guess, but then you need someone to tune it, and you need a standard ECU, and a new MAF.

And that is going to be expensive, even if it is the cheapest route.

TBH that kind of tuned up engine also has a high maintenance cost; if you are already stopped by an ECU & MAF budget wise, you are going to cry as soon as it needs some maintenance.

I dont know who told you people get race cars for cheap... but he lied.

the idea would be to find a way to TRY and do it cheap, I understand all the effort and time spent on the money, realistically standalone would be the best, however 1500$ is not feasible right now.
If it comes down to it, and there is no other way, obviously I will get a JWT ecm. I'm just trying to see if there is anyone out there who actually has data and a known thing that will work, looking on the cheaper side of things.

Nistune Nistune Nistune. Cheap at around $500(if you do the install yourself) and very capable because it does not need to be sent off every time something changes. Anything under that range is just a bandaid and not worth the money. Now I just have to convince my buddy that his build of the same caliber will not run right on a stock ECU.

With a built engine like that your not going to get away with just a maf and injectors. You need a tune and I would venture to say your engine isnt a cookie cutter build, so a pretuned ecu is just a bandaid. You need a custom tune for your setup.

You can get an Enthalpy tune for $399 and send in a stock ecu.
