So after replacing the engine, and finally fixing the distributor i'm having more trouble with my car. When I first started my car it ran at about 1000rpm. Then I turned it off for a little bit, went and started it up, still around 1000rpm idle. Drove to the end of the street. Came to a stop sign and my car died. Now it won't start unless I give it a good amount of gas. I'm thinking it could be a vacuum leak maybe? Also awhile ago I checked the ECU for codes before the engine would start and it said IACV but I haven't got to check that yet. Any ideas?

Also forgot to mention, the engine bay smells like gas, but I don't see a gas leak. However it could be from when I took the fuel line off of the fuel filter.
Update: I pulled the code and got 12. So I'll check the wires out there and then keep trying. But would a maf cause a car to stall in neutral at stop signs?

Update: I believe it's my MAF sensor. I started the car without the MAF plugged in because I saw that there is a 4 wire connector on it with only 3 wires, and the white wire(ground?) is starting to break. It started up, idled at less than 100 for a bit, I tapped the gas and it started to level out around 1000 ish. So I popped the hood, and tried plugging in the MAF and the car shut off. Therefore, I believe it's my MAF. Does anyone have pics of the MAF connector for an S14? I need to know is it only a 3 wire connector or 4? And which wire goes where?
