ok so heres the story i have an s13 with an rb25 s1 purchased from elite jdm few years back by previous owner i did an oil change on it as i worked for infiniti i had new filters laying around in my tool box decided to use 1 since i said "i have filters no need to buy 1" so i put the wrong filter on, while driving filter flew off engine and spun a bearing so i replaced the bearings a week later my engine locked up..
..so this is were i am now i wanted to get opinions from experiences with jdm engine depot and jdm engine zone or others locally due to elite jdm not having any in stock cause i would have definitely bought it from them i will be replacing the folowing: head gasket, all belts, water pump, oil pump, head studs, main studs, rod bolts, tensioners, main bearings, rod bearings, all gaskets, and piston rings.
all help is appreciated
thanks

if your looking to get it from somewhere reputable is near impossible (from my research). You might be able to get one that's missing parts or w/ high mileage from off the forums but a decent quality engine w/ warranty will be 2k or so. I'm in Jersey so prices should be quite similar

Yea I've been looking around doing research and i end up reading mixed reviews from people about places i called engine depot a few months ago and was quoted $800 w/o trans, ecu, and harness just to get an idea on how much to put aside so i called them a few days ago and was quoted $1,100 so now im pissed
