New main and rod bearings went into my Ka24E and It was cranking really slow and I searched around some people said timing is sometimes off by 180 degrees when doing the bearings. That was my issue. I redid the timing and the motor is still cranking slow.

Double checked the Distributor and when at TDC is sitting on cyl 1.

Not sure if this will help but extra info.

-Used a thick gauge for firewall to block ground
-Battery is relocated
-No belts installed
-Slow with the plugs out

Possible the bearings are to tight? or would you think its the starter.

Please help! :(

Thanks in Advance, If anymore info is needed please ask.

Just an update. I dropped the oil pan and retorqued the bearings and rod caps. Had someone turn the crank after each bolt/nut tightened. Motor is pretty smooth now and Cranks just about at normal speeds. I sprayed some Quick Starting Fluid into the intake and it pops really loud like It wants to start. Lets just hope the valves are not bent >.>
