I have had this issues for awhile, it doesn't effect the performance of the car, but wanted to see if anyone may have encounter this issue. I have a 1995 240sx and my set up is a SR20DET, GT2871r, 550cc, tune ECU, Z32 MAF, 7 series NGK plugs and I have ran this for about 7 yrs now.

Now, recently ever since temp drop here in NC, my coil packs started making a buzzing noise when I first crank on in the morning, the car sleeps in the garage too. Well as it fire up first thing, the coilpacks will do a buzz, I rev up and it goes away then at idle it comes back. I have swap out coils, ran electrical lube and recently ran a set of my buddy's SpitFires I pick up dirt cheap and still the same. The crazy thing is that it will do it in the cold morning, but once warm up through the day it's doesn't do it any more. Like I said before it doesn't hurt the performance but its a lil annoying not knowing what it is. I was wondering if anyone had this problem and found a solution. It almost seems like a frequency being interrupted by a radio. Thanks any thing suggestion be helpful.

You know what its hard to say, its only when you first fire up when it does it. It would make since if it was coming from there simce its trying to adjust. Do u think it may be starting to fail? I know it started to this just last year right when weather temp drop. Tomorrow I use a stethoscope and see if it is the IACV. Thanks

Leave the engine off and turn the key all the way on but the car not running if it is the iac it will be easy to hear buzzing. Mine does it. And it's bad. You can also unplug it and it will go away just to check if that's it.
