I looked through some similar threads with similar problems but cant find nothing. Hopefully some of you gurus can guide me in the right direction. I have a zenki sr20 with a wc ecu in my 96 chassis. The motor is stock besides a fmic and megan manifold with a stock turbo running the stock 7psi. I also have a z32 maf on it. The ecu is not tuned for the maf so sometimes the car would run like this once in awhile, but never as bad as this. Now this problem has become an everyday thing. The motor has been in the car since august and has not given me many problems. Occasionally whenever i'm driving my rpms will not go past 3000. At the 3000 mark the car starts to putter out and almost sounds as if its going to die. It also bucks violently. Ive read in the past that it could be the coilpacks but I pulled each of them and the idle changes as it should. I also tried to check my ecu for codes, but i see no light. I noticed my check engine light came on though when I turned the turn on, it was on for 17sec and then shut off and came back on. Should I try adjusting my tps? but if the motor ran fine before that shouldnt be the issue... right? All my connectors are good and grounds are good as well as far as I can see.
Heres a video oh whats been going on...

well Im no guru when it comes to sr's but you said the ecu isnt tuned to the maf and it sometimes does it, just not as bad.. I would start there just because it has caused similar issues in the past.

Yea when I first got my motor it never came with the maf or intake pipe so I figured I'd order a greddy kit and I had a z32 maf. Only some days it would run like crap but I was only until the car warmed up then the problem would go away. But now for a week this problem has been getting worse and has been occurring everyday

hmm. i would try cleaning the maf first and see if it makes some sort of difference.. you could have just had a bad maf in the first place and it just gave out.

You know all the stupid post being created labeled limp mode? well you are in limp mode
cleaning the maf sensor won't fix this
wiring is probably not the problem
what the problem is, is you're not tuned for the mafs.
come on, why would you even drive like this? it's make me what to laugh, cry and other things. consider your 240sx half broken.
ps try turning your phone 90deg when making video's

Why would you? If you don't have a clue then why don't u ask before you try and put a different afm on?
I don't care if some days it's better than others, the issue is the afm is not scaled to your map.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the engine is damaged too
