No drifting events within 3 hrs of Hampton Roads. You have Summit Point, VIR and the smaller venue at Shenandoah Speedway. Dominion Raceway is being built by fredericksburg and that will be the closest track to us when it opens sometime next year or so.


whats the latest 411 on Dominion? Are guys trying to use that as a drift venue?

Driftwater shut us down because we are not inline with the image the company is trying to portray. Same fuckers that got their company banned in Iraq and Afghanistan, and had to change their names 4 times to get around the stigma of Blackwater.

As far as Dominion, not sure, I'm deployed so I'm not really keeping up. Look them up on facebook to see whats going on with them. Last I saw before I left was they started the ground breaking in Oct/Nov.

My wife would fucking murder me. I took her up thru one of the touge roads I used to go to in Okinawa, pretty much right after I just got done slapping a GT3582R in my S14. Power over at every turn, no traction all the way thru 4th gear...she hated that car from that point on cuz she thought I'd kill myself in it.

Well, that track probably wont be done till next year but on a side note...DriftBasic got a couple drift events lined up at NCCAR. That's pretty much as close as you can get without it being a Driftwater event.

On a side note, I can't remember if I changed my damn coolant last summer. I usually flush my radiator and run distilled water w/ water wetter. I can't remember if I did or did not do that this year. Would suck to come back this summer with popped freeze plug or cracked block cuz I was still running water with barely any anti-freeze.

Now would be a good time to start cleaning up that DOHC KA your tossing in. I'd replace all the vacuum lines on in, specially the ones to the EGR since those are probably cooked already. I'd probably clean that EGR and tube out since you can access it now. Basically prep it before you put it in the car.

Yah he wanted $5500.00 and I talked with him and he dropped it to $5000.00 But I passed. And im glad I did. Because I bought this, called just 30min after it was posted and bought 2hr later. Was asking $5k got him down to $4.4k. Worth it for a clean near stock s14 imo.

Anyone want a 1uz that's partially disassembled. The intake manifold, headers, fuel rails, starter, alt, harness are all off the car. But you'll get all that with the engine. The starter is basically new, alt is good, injectors are clean, ecu is good, harness is a bit brittle and the Engine is a bit dirty. It'll come with igniters, maf housing, and spare spark plug covers (hard to find unbroken). I'll take like $200 for it if you come get it today or tomorrow. Is a 93 from a ls400 so it's for sump. 140k miles I believe.

I'm starting to realize how much a PITA it would be if I let tmo ship it.

As far as fender rolling, just use a hammer and a rubber mallet. Go easy on it and you could get better results than with a roller.

I wasn't that bad, i already had unbolted the trans so i just pulled what was left of the engine and didnt even have to take the hood off. Then dropped the trans and slid it out from underneath(car was on blocks)

would recommend resonator, shit's loud as fuck.

the ISIS N1 style exhaust comes with a resonator on the midpipe, you could use the resonator from that to the axle, and then blast pipe the rest of the way.

Yah, I made a day trip out of it last year. Drove down there with a few Bimmers Sat morning, stuck around till 11 ish and made the 2.5 hrs drive back to Hampton. Basically, after midnight, the cops go away and thats when it gets out of hand. If you know the bolt specs you can go to York Bolt and get it new. They're good and very affordable.

Nah I'm staying active duty bro. If I live in Riverside it'll be one of the good neighborhoods like Orangecrest or Canyon Crest. I'm trying to get a house in Moreno Valley that's close to work maybe the Rancho Belago neighborhood. Yeah I saw that, but I think Tyler was talking more about for like people just starting off. Where we would have an open lot to practice in. That track seems to be pretty big and should probably have some experience before going there. Personally my car won't even be ready this season, but I wouldn't mind trying to get something started and meet people.

As much as I'd love to try drifting at NCCAR, I don't think my car would be ready for any of those events considering I'd need about 300hp for most of the corners, and I think they require cages, and I couldn't jump straight into it. The only drift experience I have is with rFactor and a Logitech g27 lol.

Bought it as a virgin with it being my second 240, first one went down in 3 days because I thought I was invincible and I had a welded diff. Current one is fitted with an SR that was put in by 1320 tuning (never go there.) Thought I wouldn't have the resources to do the swap myself but after I had already invested in a shop I had multiple people come to me telling me that they'd help me and that that shop sucks. I wanna build for 300hp but I want to get some fancy 18s and new coilovers as well.

flaps are getting replaced by kouki valance and the bumper will also be type X so the plate will be in the center. I had a small fender bender a while back and when I got a new front bumper for it I wanted the license plate bracket holes deleted. Also, wanted tags that would put my car out from the others, so people had something to remember me by, and not just another 240.

of course it did. it's becoming the norm for most 240s that i've seen lately. which is really sad. in other news, my old 240 is running again. my buddy swapped an sr in there. so far, my favorite local 240's are knoop's, and mike's. ray's is jank. though, i rarely see any at all anymore.

Is that you Devaughn? Need to get the glass lifted to double check for rust under the seals and get fresh seals and trim. Does Nissan still sell the seal trims for S-chassis? I got the notorious S14 rear quarter glass rusting leak. Do I get the Hinga special paint job hook up price? :p
