Anybody used this setup? Specifically their individual throttle body intake manifold for the ka24e (single cam). I'm looking to do something different and it seems they are the only company that produces one (according to google and this site lol). Any input would be appreciated

I'm planning to go fully built sohc (heads , forged internals etc)itbs, turbo, running megasquirt. I can make or have someone fab a custom intake, but if its more cost/time efficient I would rather purchase one that's already in use. Gato racing seems to be the only company I could find that produces one I can buy off the shelf I just wasn't sure or knew of the quality of there product. And btw to the member that said its "knock off blah blah blah" what is it a knock off of? I've never seen or heard of anyone else who makes one so please fill me in who they ripped off?

I think jr_ss just jumped the gun on the name, nothing more nothing less.
I had a buddy with a GATO on his Honda, was a nice piece!

More or less. I don't know much about them but they look like they have quality parts and it seems like the Honda guys like them. I will say this, it be better than a knock off intake manifold that's for sure.
However back OT, you could always run the GTIR setup. I'm not sure how large the ITBs are on the GATO manifold vs the GTIR one though.

The gato manifold doesn't come with itbs I'd have to figure that out too. As far as the gtir im not sure if that setup will fit on the sohc. I'm not to familiar with it so maybe I'm wrong
