Okay I had a wiring mess for my SR and in stead of fixing it, I decided to go with Chase Bays and clean up the harness after a somewhat of a confusing install I got the harness in. And fired up the car. That's when stuff went wrong, the car ran really smooth but after about a minute of running it got a really lopey idle and puffed black smoke each lope it was like a god damn diesel. So I checked the ecu codes code 12 maf. Okay need a new maf no big deal right? Well then a did a few things started it back up and off and now it is also throwing 11?? What the hell. I unplugged the cas with the key on and the fuel pump cycled on and off so it seems to be working correctly. Could the maf cause code 11? I tested maf voltage, should it be 5 volts at idle?? Should I test cas voltage? And the car was working and running correctly? Any ideas?

Was your MAF running properly before, what things did you tinker with to then cause it to throw a code 11.
If your ecu read a code 12 for the MAF go ahead and replace that just to knock it off the board of possibilities. Good luck tho man.

I did stuff like check for boost leaks did not touch anything that could cause the cas to go off. I'm pretty sure that cas went bad... It just seems odd to me that shit would go bad as soon as I installed that harness. Should I check anything else before I buy a cas I'm okay with my maf being dead, but don't wanna throw parts at it.

And yes everything was working properly before I put the harness in. Had a nice strong running SR. An update, I just did the ACTUAL FSM test for the CAS and the test worked from 0.1-5.0V so I don't understand why the hell its setting off the code
