I say wiring help because that is the horse ive been fed. It is also a factor in the ignition/electrical system. I dont mind being called names because i deserve it for jumping in this with no common sense and just blind ambition.
Anyhow, this is what is wrong:
Battery is new optima(installed by me today when i bought car)
alternator isn't working(could be faulty wiring)
Turbo timer works 1/3 of the time
battery light stays on
Those are the mjor points of discussion. I was told that the wiring was righed by a person before the owner that sold it to me. The last owner(guy i bought from) fixed the issues or not.
I know it runs off the battery and doesnt charge at any rpms. I unhook the ground from the battery terminal and car dies(alternator failure). My dad recommended a bench test for the alternator to see if the wiring is the issue. I think the same.
Based on what info i was given and observed what is the most probable indicator?
Again, sorry for the lack of inspection prior to buying the car, but it happened.
