What's up guys? I Recently got my car tuned and its been running great except for 2 days ago while I was driving and it started running on 3 cylinders and poured white smoke out of the exhaust that reeked of gas...I got the car towed home and the following day I pulled plugs and cyl # 3 was gas soaked, did a compression test (cold) and got 155 across the board ,then i pulled the fuel rail and there it was ,the injector in that same cylinder was dripping gas,so I sent them out for repair... My question is can gas in the cylinder hurt the engine if it was only ran for maybe 1 or 2 mins? And how can I clean it out? Should I put some oil to lube the cylinder up a little bit? The motor spins freely and does not make any grinding or scraping noises and the compression is good also..btw its a sohc ka-t

well not really but i would recomend drying it and making sure everything is good to go just go easy on it to burn the extra unburned fuel

Ya if the cylinder fills up with two much fuel it can actually stop the rotating assembly from turning because it will thin out the oil. Is what i would do is pull your inj clips and just crank the car and let the spark burn off the fuel. Now if there is a Shit ton in there I would turn the crank till cyl 3 is at the top and use like a turkey baster and suck out the fuel.

^ yep, white is usually an indication of coolant

Yeah its definitely not coolant, its dumping so much gas from that stuck injector that its getting into the exhaust and steaming causing white gas smelling smoke. The rotating assembly is free and has no indications of being damaged, ive changed the oil and filter ,and cranked it over and over a bunch of times to push the gas out . Now I'm just waiting on my injectors and ill fire it up and hope for the best. Thanx for the advise I really appreciate it.

Check your o rings too. Make sure you grease them before installing them.
