For MAF to interfere with fuel/spark?

I've had more problems with this swap I can even think of. Pretty much everything on the car is new.

It was missing and running rough, cylinder 1 wasn't firing, when I unplugged the coilpack nothing happened, the other cylinders had a very noticeable Change when disconnected. I pulled the fuel rail and inj 1 had a bad oring, I replaced it to stop the leak but still no change.

I swapped the the injectors on the first 2 cylinders, cylinder 1 was firing and cyl 2 was not, so I have a bad injector? I wanted to see if it would run better with another injector so I put one of the old injectors from the ka in. Now cylinder 1 and 2 are not firing. All I'm doing to test is disconnecting the coilpacks and listening for a change. Even with both disconnected at the same time there is no change and the car runs exactly the same.

It always seems to run better with the Maf unplugged, with the maf disconnected, all 4 cylinders are now working, with a significant change with each of the coilpacks disconnected. The wire harness is brand new too.
I noticed with the maf disconnected the a/f ratio gauge runs from 11.6 to 12.3, soon as the maf is plugged in it immediately jumps to 18 then maxes out. Doesn't really make sense to me. Any ideas?

Another strange thing that happened the other day. After I dropped the motor back in, the car wouldnt crank over, there was fuel pouring out of the manifold and cold pipe line. I took the plugs out to see if it would turn over, and gas shot out of the cylinders like a fire hose, pelting off the garage cieling 5 feet above, even with the fuel pump fuse removed gas was just shooting out of the cylinders. I'm no mechanic but I doubt that's normal
