Hey guys , so here's my problem.
The other day I was driving and noticed the car started to get a slight "jerk" on/off throttle. Nothing horrible, just enough to let me know something's wrong. So yesterday I started to feel a hesitation almost. It started out with doing a WOT pull from 2nd gear, starting at 2500 rpms. The turbo spools up to 15.3lbs (my target) just before 4,000rpms where it normally does. But the car felt like something was holding it back, nothing jerky just a loss of power. As soon as I hit 5,000 rpms the car opened up like it normally would. The boost stayed the same the whole time. It's just like something opened up at 5,000. Some pulls I took were fine later on in the day. Then later last night I had a pull where it hesitated all the way down by 3,000 and kinda broke up on itself, no misfiring like something else. So right after that I pop my hood, I turn the car into accessory mode with the fuel pump running. I go under the hood and hear a "hissing" noise right by the FPR. It almost souńs like a vaccum leak. Once again the car is not running and the fuel pump is on, almost a vaccum leak noise coming from the fpr/ front of fuel rail. I'm not sure what to do. I don't recall ever hearing that hissing before. How should I go about cleaning the fuel system? Is this even an issue or normal? Any input would help. I already plan on going to pick up new injector orings to yank everything.
Sr20det s13
Walbrol 255
560cc injectors
Z32maf
28r
All supporting intake exhaust etc mods
Fuel pressure gauge reads around 60 when pump is on, around 40
At idle.
I've had the car for a year. Blew my first sr20 a few month ago, this is my second motor, I do all my own mechanical work. No codes pulled from the ECU reads 55. Spark plugs had some black carbon on them. Cleaned with a a wire brush. I've experienced a knock sensor issue on my last motor. That was a backfire breakup higher rpm thing, this feels diffirent. Any help would be appreciated!

So I tried some stuff out today. Ran a smoke machine to test for boost leaks, replaced the fuel filter, pulled the rubber lines looking for a blocked line, seafoamed through a vaccum line. I'm beginning to smell a hint of raw fuel under the hood. There are no leaks anywhere at all. Is it possible that I just have a bad O ring on one of my fuel injectors?

Also the idle is now crappy, it's boggy and won't hold where it always has around 850. No stalling just rough.

what kind of fpr is it?

It's stamped Nissan so my guess would be the stock one. Unfortunately I didn't get another fuel rail with the other sr. I just threw my whole intake manifold on the new motor.

Spray the fpr with simple green and see if anything bubbles up to verify it is leaking.

As far as cleaning your fuel system, how old are the injectors? I'd probably send the injectors out to get cleaned, tested and matched, then slap some fresh Z32 fuel filter in there.

There are no leaks on the fuel rail or fpr. Like I said the noise is there when I just have the fuel pump on. I pulled the rail off the other day and let the pump run, no leaks from any injectors either. Idk where to go from here. I guess I should have the injectors checked out though. The only thing that's really going on right now is the idle issue.
