Hi guys i have a question, i have a roller rocker head left over from 2002 g20, i notice that lifters are identical to those on other sr20's with 2 diffrence.. The side oil feed inlet on the Roller Rocker lifter is bigger in comparrison to that of the one on my blk top sr. Second is the top outlet on the Roller Rocker lift is alot smaller compared to the blk top sr also.. Now i keep breaking rockers on my sr at high rpm(8,000). Basically if my thoughts are right these hold higher oil pressure? And shouldnt fail at high rpm( yes all my lifters are bled n working proper) Im going to take off head n check for bent valves etc and shim the head just wondering if throwing these in for added insurance is good and has any one done this...

My set up is a Full-Race Gt3071r twin scroll kit
Custom intake manifold q45 tb
Hks 264/272 staggered cams
Bc valve springs n retainers

From the little research I have done, the later lifters where more desireable than the earlier ones. I can't remember why off hand.

Your only other option is solid lifters. You obviously already know that the hydraulic lifters can't keep up with the higher revs, that's why you keep tossing them.
