First and foremost,i recently sold a 95 240 with a 1jz with r154 tranny. The buyer then drove 6 hrs home with the car no problem. Ive never had a problem with this car except for the turbo seals going bad. I included a new precision turbo with the sale. Anyway, the buyer has since said he has had problems. He says the battery fuse blew because groceries fell on the battery in the trunk. He also says he replaced the fuse and now the car wont start and believes the motor is seized?? He says the car never over heated, has oil but when the car blew the fuse it just died and now says the motor is locked. This doesnt seem to make since to me. He also says he believes the ecu is ok. Kinda confused on this im thinking he took it too hard and past the rev limit or something. Any other thoughts?

simple...he should sell the car...get a civic. and call it a day. the fact he think the motor seized because of a battery fuse, shows he knows nothing..

I know man but im trying to help him figure out what actually happened from the info he is giving me. If it has oil, never overheated, never ran bad at all how could the engine be seized? Just thinking he over did it and took it past the rev limit too hard or something crazy.

this. Also it's not your problem you sold it. Thats why people shouldn't buy peoples project cars.

I know its not my problem but i still feel kinda bad. Also, this car ran like a top for the 8 months i had it, never overheated once, alwys started and it was far from an incomplete project. But i know what u mean bro.
