I've searched and haven't found a solid answer. I'm just all confused if I can use a vacuum source on the intake manifold for my AEM tru boost controller. thats all thanks!

I would think that you would want to use it off of your wastegate or blow off valve.

i know one of the wastegate vacuum line goes to the boost controller. can i source the other from the intake manifold?

probably wanna use the line off of the fpr for a source for the boost sensor. as far as a boost source for the solenoid its best to use a source off of the hotpipe

since my wastegate was getting a vacuum source from my intake manifold. is there a problem if i use that same source to go into the boost controller and from boost controller to wastegate.

what engine is this for? and i wouldn't. its probably best that they each have their own sources

RB25 with freddy intake manifold.
my idea of hooking it up.
(INTAKE MANIFOLD AFTER TB)>VACUUM>(AEM TRU BOOST CONTROLLER)>VACUUM>(STOCK INTERNAL WASTEGATE)

from what i've been reading about the aem, most people just use the line from their current boost gauge for the vac source for the controller. as far as rb series motors im unfamiliar to the setup as far as how they come stock with the vac hose routing. id recommend using a source from the ic piping for a faster response for a source to the wastegate from experience. i've gotten alot less spiking since i swapped my sources but im more familiar with srs to be honest. maybe somebody with more experience with rb series motors can chime in

Thanks for the inputs! I've found this article
Installing An AEM True Boost - Import Car Boost Controller - Super Street (http://www.superstreetonline.com/techarticles/130_0706_aem_true_boost/)
But its for an SR. I guess the concept of hooking up a boost controller should be similar.
I appreciate everyones advice. If I run in to problems, I'll be back.
