I have been trying to fix the brakes on my car for over a year now (off and on of course) and I have changed every part of the brake system (calipers, pads, rotors, bleed the entire system, bmc, booster, check valve..) to no prevail. The brakes barely stop at all and the when I pull the hose from the engine side of the booster there was no vacuum and engine idle did not change at all. Pulled it from the back of the upper intake and same thing, no change in engine idle, no vacuum.

So I pulled the intake off, cleaned it good put everything back on and still same symptoms.

So I checked for vacuum leaks. None.

So I came to the conclusion it must be the vacuum lines themselves. Well I was kinda right. I had a line running from the throttle body to the nipple on the pipe running from the upper intake to the fmic ( I don't know what its "proper" name is). This motor had been running with a rough idle since I installed it earlier this year. Well, when you pinched that line going from the nipple to the throttle body the idle would smooth out and a very small amount of vacuum would generate from the line coming off the back of the upper intake to the booster. So I checked online and realized my lines were wrong.

So after consulting with the internet I took the hose running to the waste gate from the throttle body where I had it and now ran it to that nipple on the pipe. Then I just capped off the 2 ports where I had originally ran the waste gate and random line to the nipple on from the throttle body, off.

Started car up and idle was a little better but not as good as when I had pinched the line running from the nipple to the throttle body. On top of that still no vacuum and now I have a large amount of compressor surge and the BOV is doing a thing.

So as a recap, I have changed everything in the brake system and still have a soft pedal and little to no brakes (pedal goes effortlessly to the floor and pads barely squeeze the rotors), there is no vacuum on the brake booster or back of the throttle body connecting to the booster, and I started my vacuum lines like this:

and now they look like this:

Here is a video of the booster not getting boosted just for emphasis.

Ok, part of the problem resolved. I'll post my solution for future reference.

Basically read up on the ports under the throttle body. Only the 2 sticking out under the throttle body are vacuum, the other 2 are useless. So I put my bov on one of those and bam, no more flutter and I got vacuum to the rear of the intake. But still nothing the booster. Well apparantly the first line taht comes off the intake to the booster has a hidden check valve in it and I had it backwards. Swapped it around and I got vacuum.

But new issue is when I press on the brakes (which are still spongy) the engine rpms drop as well as vacuum pressure. Holding about -20hg at idle and gauge goes to -15hg to -18hg when I hit the brakes.
