Another damn type x build.

Okay I've had this car for a while, my 5th 240. so I Started off like this:

Bought it, It had a dual cam swap, with brian crower cams, but the motor was on its way out. I drove it anyway. I sold my hardbody for 1200, plus a half of a kit.

My seat, wheel, and quick release and rails i had laying around from my abandoned s14 build that i cut in half took up space in my room, so installed those.

BC coilovers came in, I installed those, fronts where on the wrong side for the longest time giving me almost no negative camber at all. Lol

Picked up some 17s before i put the kit on so it didnt look completely stupid.

Shortly after that i installed the bumper, front over fenders and side skirts

Got a free exhaust, free roof wing from chaser. and picked up these sparco wheels for the rear.

cherry pearl nissan color.

Intentions with the build on the new car is to make a perfect car.

Stuff that just came in all oem from nissan, trying to go legit as possible.

Moog inner and outer tie rods
new 300zx fuel filter
exedy master cylinder for clutch
exedy slave cylinder
isis exhaust bushings(maybe my blastpipes wont fucking rattle anymore?)
nismo trans mount
tie rod boots

and a bunch of other stuff too. Pretty much starting new with alot of stuff i already have, just getting new parts of what i have since ill be putting the grey car back together for someone else to learn how to drive with. Also reason i didn't buy aftermarket lca's is cause im just looking for reliability, and new bushings/balljoints and 3 degrees of camber is enough for me up front.

I have two tail light centers, black and color matched to the car. I forgot to drop one off with the car for paint..hopefully they can incude painting it for the same price, called and left a message..

Car is back from paint. Today I installed the new lower control arms, tie rods, and tie rod boots. Also the paint shop (maaco) undercoated the car for me.

Really hard to get the color In a picture! haha, But when the sun hits it, it has so much flake its awesome.

the corner damage was similar, i had to get body pulled, new bumper tailight
and paint. Driver got away, cops never found the driver..


None of the witnesses got his license plate. just "it was a white truck" description .

All i did today was finish wiring in the type x tails, Installed the tension rods, and dropped my faces off to get powdercoated.

yeah pretty crazy..haha, so i got the horns working today, installed some sweet JDM horns that came on a jdm clip that we had a while ago..Wired up the radio and speakers. Monday i will mount tires on my wheels, then drive the car until i find another pair of wheels so i can get my rear wheels refinished..
