i read on frsport that the 2 arp main studs closest to the trans may need to be shorter and can cause the upper oil pan to break. anyone have experience with this? how much needs to be taken off? thx for any info

I thought that two were made shorter for rwd.

i checked them and they are all the same size

2 last studs toward the transmission on the intake side has to be trim down to where you can't see the allen key part of the stud.

Search next time.

There are quite a few threads about this already. I've personally posted in them.

However, since your lack of motivation to search is apparent, the rear studs have to be trimmed an 1/8" or you can mark where the studs are, drill holes and have a plate welded over them.

exhaust side actually, thank god i didnt take your advice and screw something up
