Hi everyone! Newbie here. No one i know in my country has done this. Has anyone here built or saw this kind of engine set up? I have search in this forum but cant found one also. There's alot of Sr24 but i can found one that using Sr16ve head. Hope u guys could give some help, suggestion, idea etc about this set up.
I will using it for drifting on my Silvia 180sx. I hope to get 550-600whp with it. The head, block, air intake, turbo and manifold was already put in together now, just wait for the wiring for the Ecu, injector, fuel pump etc
I want to know the pros and cons with this set up or any details/story about it like it's reliable or not, how high can it rev, how much hp can it get with what turbo etc etc etc. i want as much info i could get about it from this forum. Thanks in advance. I really apriciate it.
This is what i built now. (almost done)
Sr16vvl NEO head
-port and polish
-rebuilt valves and lifters
-custom intake manifold with 75mm throtle body
-reposition solenoid for rwd use
Sr20det block
-2.4 brian crower stroker kit
-BC 4340 billet steel crankshaft (91mm stroke)
-90mm Cp forged piston
-4340 steel billet connecting rods w/ARP fasteners.
-darton sleeve
-line bored and engine balanced
-nismo oil and water pump
I will temporary use a Gt3037 turbo with 45mm Tial wastegate to running in the engine and might swap it to Gt35 .104 with NOS if everythings run well. I got a twin plate Ogura in stock gearbox(know it wont last long). I am using AEM engine management, fuel regulator and fuel rail as well.
The most important things that i would like to know is what is the rev limit for this set up to be efficient and reliable? How much whp can it get? with what turbo etc etc etc. I will post my pic soon. Please give me some input, info or anything regarding to this set up. Thanks!
