So heres the problem my cars blowing smoke about a minuet after starting it.. a couple weeks ago i was driving to georgia and didnt realize when i was putting my turbo back on my friend who put oil in my car put full 5 quarts in it so it was 1.5-2 quarts to much and when i reached Tennessee i noticed it was blowing smoke shortly after i broke my axle so towed the car home when the car got home i drained the oil to the full line on the dipstick and it was still smoking at first i was thinking i blew my headgasket. 2 quarts to much so figured too much oil pressure blew the headgasket. checked for air in my coolant there wasnt any car runs great still just smokes.. so figured it couldnt be that. (havent done a compression test i know i should but have been working alot) so next i figured it was the turbo (TD05 18G) too much oil pressure possibly blown seals on the turbo. took off the air intake and felt in the turbo and my finger had oil on it. then took the car for a drive it was boosting fine just blowing smoke, car obviously smokes more in boost. then checked my coolant after about a 10 min drive and it had pressure in it as it should and it poured onto the plastic fan guard and notice there was a tiny rainbow look into it like oil could it be from the oil and coolant mixing in the turbo from blown seals? checked my oil with the dipstick wasnt milky looked normal etc. any ideas? i know its not certain untill i do a compression test ill have time tomorrow i pray its the turbo and not the head gasket

you probably blew oil past the turbo seal and if it doesnt go away soon, then its probably still going by it. was there play in the shaft at all? no homo.

i havent checked for shaft play yet lol.. it has the stupid clocking adapters that are in the way so need to take those off first but will be doing that tomorrow as well

pull your plugs too and see if theyre coated in oil. you have to figure out where the oil actually came from before you condemn anything.

So the oil didn't push past the rings or valve guides/seals, probably not the head gasket either. Usually, too much oil pushes past the oil rings and/or the main seals. I'm going to stick with turbo still unless your oil or coolant turns milky.

pull off the o2 housing, look for oily deposits on the exhaust side..
