Ok so i have a question regarding a 1990 300zx VG30DETT swap. Question is, what would be some probable causes of a fairly large amount of black smoke to be emitted from the exhaust? I doubt its just running rich due to the amount of smoke. Problem has gradually grown worse over about a months period of time and is parked now due to the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

All i can find is the "black smoke means too much fuel in the cylinder" which could be messed up ecu, leaky injector, fuel pump, etc etc. I guess Im wondering if this could an internals problem or a turbo problem, Oil leaking in with gas? Like, what could be the worst possible reason, or list of reasons lol.

black smoke is to much fuel...
You may have a stuck open injector... try pulling your codes to see if anything pops up.
unless you are confusing black smoke with blue smoke ... Which a lot of people do..
