I have a couple issues with my s14. I need your help zilvia members. My first problem is while I'm sitting at a light, the gauge tends to go up and down. My second issue is there a special tool to use for brake job on an s14 brakes? Also my last issue is my gas gauge it says, full needle which I highly doubt it.

Um, which gauge?
There is a special tool for the rear brakes, but a partially opened set of needle-nose pliers works very well. I think it added a net of 5 minutes per side vs. standard disc brakes.

make sure you turn the brakes clockwise to set them back in.
& for your idle. check the iacv. clean it. check for VACUUM LEAKS!. clean your maf. while your at it buy a fsm, or download one, since you bought it, might as well read it.
for vacuum leaks, buy some carb cleaner and spray around the lines, when the engine starts it increase/decrease idle, your know you got a leak in that area/hose. goodluck.

Buy one of these...they're your rear calipers best friend.
