Has anyone had any problems with the tomei turbo kits blowing seals? We recently installed one on and within 100 miles the turbo seals blew out. Car is an s14 sr20 stock motor with headgasket, studs, and rocker stoppers only. Drove the car nicely and decided to do one 3rd gear pull to about 6k rpm and noticed a ton of oil coming out of the bov and possible out of the oil dipstick area. The pcv was super dry and there was a grip of oil in the intake. Prior to this we noticed that the turbo would make a weird metal rattle noise when the car warmed up? Any ideas as to why the turbo went out so early???

We have installed a bunch of the Tomei turbo kits and have not had any problems with oiling or seal problems.
The OLDER Arms Kits did have some issues which have all been addressed with the new turbo kits.
The Center section saw some re designing and also inside the compressor housings there were some changes to keep it from having a surging issue.

Thanks, The turbo has been sent out to Tomei to get looked at. Maybe its something else then. Also we noticed that where the wastegate goes into the turbo that area easily builds up condensation and rusts the flapper arm stuck. We had to remove the wastegate clip and shoot it with penetrating fluid to unstick it! This was with zero miles on the turbo without even using it yet.
