worn out CAS

Is there a definitive way to tell if my CAS is worn out to the point it needs replacement, other than to have it clocked almost completely counter clockwise to get the timed properly? I'm all for replacing it, if it needs it, but I hate replacing perfectly fine equipment for no good reason other than mis-information. Thanks people.

what motor and mods? if its a rb25, then yes, mine and many others are clocked way counter-clockwise to get it right.

Awe shit, noob mistake. S13 blacktop, freshly rebuilt, new complete timing kit, z32 maf, turbonetics t3t4 60 trim, fmic, apex pfc, greddy boost controller & turbo timer. I just ordered a complete intake and exhaust gasket ste to eliminate any last leaks and what not.
