I know this probably been asked numerous times on here, and I apologize.
From what I read online, most people are saying that its the timing chain guides that are getting beat up by the chain, so i took the liberty to pop off the valve cover and noticed that they've already been taken off from the previous owner.
another thing i read is that its the lifters, which would make sense.. we swapped the trans a few days ago, the s13 has been sitting on ramps for about two weeks and someone had the same problem with an sr that was sitting around for a while, what they said that it was the lifters starvation of oil for so long since it was on an angle for a bit, i'm not sure. I'm not a master tech so i was wondering if I could get your guys' opinions.
