SR20DET Out of car! Where do I go now?

This is what the car was doing before I pulled it. I was sure it was a spun bearing but I have the engine out of the car and the bottom cover off, and there is hardly any play on the rods(there isn't any on the rod in and up and down motion but there is very little moving side to side) I pulled the valve cover off and immediately smelled gas. What the fcuk is wrong with my car? Can you guys pplease help, I'm so lost right now! I just need to know what I should take apart next!

Take the whole motor apart, bag and tag EVERYTHING, then send it to a machine shop to be checked... And post pictures of all your bearings so we can tell you if they're messed up.

leaky injector and/or bad valve seals...
Not a Bearing... sounds like a lifter.

Okay I'll start with the head, and when I pull the head will it be pretty apparent that it is a valve or retainer or something there? I'll pull the head and post pictures.
