whining ? intake cam rb20 ?

Ok so I just did a complete rebuild on my Rb20 runs fine but the brand new timing belt is super tight ... Like the engine has been ran 5 min and all the lettering on top of the belt is already all gone there is no play at all.... There's a loud whining coming from the intake cam side and not the exhaust side ... I wondering if anyone has ran into this problem? ......also the belt was a oem belt right off nissanparts.cc

You just answered your own question. If the belt is too tight then loosen it.

Well that's the thing I can't loosen it........ its thst tight no slack at all.... It has me. Confused I'm about to go back to the old timing belt i had on the other engine
