Great progress so far man! Sucks to hear on the girlfriend side but time heals all wounds and just take it slow. If she really loves you, she will return to you in the end. Just focus on life, and the material things will fall in place. With that being said, build a badass coupe, GOODLUCK to you sir! I wanna see a finished product :D

Women are truly nuts. I recently got done with a 3.5 year relationship myself. She has fallen apart....I have done nothing but improve my life style and land a very well paying job. I'm kind of in your same boat, spending boat loads on my ride to keep my mind occupied. Good luck with the build man. Looks good so far. Its like the old joke goes. Man goes up to god and asks "why are women so beautiful?". God says, "so you would be attracted to them". Man then asks, "why did you make women so stupid?". God says, "So they would be attracted to you". lol I always get a kick out of that.

I live near Annapolis but if it was the MR2 you saw I was in the area all of the time hanging out with other MR2 guys. I drove it everywhere. The FD rarely went anywhere at all, typical single turbo RX7.

WNM you forget about that girl, YOU FORGET ABOUT HER NOW. Your chassis/build needs your tender love more then ever. I'm sure your going to go through some type of clarity or life changing moment that enables you to move forward. And heck you might find that special girl once that build is done...
