So I have searched and searched and can't find any decisive answers.

I'm looking at an s13 with an rb20det with an rb25 turbo, front mount intercooler, full 3 inch exhaust and a walbro fuel pump.

This sounds good but I am just wondering about the tune, right now its got an safc and I was wondering if this would be sufficient. My goal for the motor is about 300whp so would this suffice?

If not are there any other relatively cheap and safe options for tuning an rb20?

Thanks

make sure you use the rb20 wastegate actuator on the rb25 turbo, and oem ecu and stock tune will prob get you close to your HP goal honestly... the stock ecu runs way rich as is and with a little tweaking on the safc should get you to your goal

this is opposite of what most will tell you but my car made 250 to the wheel with a fmic,3" dp and wasted spark set up .... i just purchased a rb25 turbo and will be installing it soon and am projecting 275+ with no tuning

X2 your stock injectors start to max once you get to 240+ whp. Rom tune it then use the SAFC to fine tune. Or get a real time ecu and tuning it that way. Cheap = you breaking shit lol. RB's aren't cheap no matter which one you get.
