Hey guys, my front brakes are shot to crap on my s13 and so is my passenger ball joint. I'm on a restrictive budget, but I think I've finally put together the parts I'm going to get. Before I buy them, can I get some feedback to determine if this is the right route and worth the upgrade?

RAYBESTOS 507-1311 Control Arm/Ball Joint Assy | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/RAYBESTOS-507-1311-Control-Arm-Ball-Joint-Assy-/320865102777?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A240SX&hash=item4ab50cebb9&vxp=mtr#ht_1102wt_1396)

Centric Parts 105.07000 Front Original Equipment Ceramic Pads | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Centric-Parts-105-07000-Front-Original-Equipment-Ceramic-Pads-/120836369237?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A240SX&hash=item1c2268ab55&vxp=mtr#ht_1377wt_931)

Centric Parts 121.42041 Front Disc Brake Rotor | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Centric-Parts-121-42041-Front-Disc-Brake-Rotor-/220877220077?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A240SX&hash=item336d4ee8ed&vxp=mtr#ht_1448wt_1139)

My concern with the rotors, is that it does not specify if it's for ABS or not. How do I tell? I do not have ABS.

As for the pads, I don't believe it comes with shims and I cannot find the kit it requires. Does it actually come with shims or should I avoid these for that reason?

If you were going to do this, would you recommend different parts? I would like to end up paying no more than $150 for everything.

Thanks for reading.

Go to advanceautoparts.com

I just added all your items and entered the coupon code:MA30. It came out to 125.83. You also get a $50 coupon towards your next purchase of $100 or more.

Order the parts online and then pick them up at the store.

I can't afford $200 for the AutoZone and the nice control arms. I was looking at the specific setup because I know Centric makes StopTech and PowerSlot, so they must be of good quality. The Rotors are unbeatably priced and I was aiming for ceramic pads. As for the LCA, I know Raybestos is good stuff. So my picks were really that bad you guys would recommend FailZone items over it?

It's not that, its just you have to be careful from what you buy on eBay. I try to limit purchases on eBay as much as possible.

The rotors you chose are actually the ABS rotors. If you note, ABS rotors have a thickness of 22mm and non-ABS have a thickness of 19.89mm or ~20mm.

Well what I actually did was do all of my researching on Google and found out the part numbers on RockAuto.com. I've been desperately researching for 3 days to no avail, lol. I figure if they title it a name brand, have sold some, and have a good rating, it's probably legit. I've used eBay a good amount and I've always been satisfied.

As for the ABS thickness, that is something I was not aware of. Truly appreciate the information, I'll look for non-ABS rotors

EDIT: I found these on eBay and I've been researching them. Everyone seems happy with them. Any opinions?
