I finally got my Motor running but before it was all installed I had to move my car and Put the key in to Release the steering lock to steer it.
ever since Then the key will not come out.
I've cranked my Car now and let it run,etc and Still..the Key will not Let go.
What the trick??
I have not Test driven it yet as I'm still bleeding coolant and making sure everything's Good. Is that What its gonna take???
I have noticed the steering lock will not Engage Now with the car turned off I guess due to the key being Stuck in the ignition.

was your car an auto? if so, then that park position shit is probably locking your key in. take out that center dash shit and look for a line with a metal tab shit at the end. push or pull that metal shit and it should release your key.

Yeah. Look under the shifter boot. You'll see the metal cable there.
It hooked up to the auto shifter.

I know manual cars have that little button you need to press by the ignition to release the key but that does not seem to be the problem

You can also unplug the wire on your lock on the steering column I believe.

Just a little bit of info, you can actually remove that cable completely from the steering console... It connects to the ignition switch.
It's a mechanical lock, there is no wiring harness to disconnect that will allow it to "unlock"

Found it guys.
Prev owner had it rolled up Behind the dash near The Temp servo Motor and Lower Steering trim. Thought it was Cruise Control Stuff at 1st when I prob Pulled the lever.
Key Comes out now.

If you remove the cable completely will it keep the car from turning on? I'm having issues with that cable junk myself
